A Few Quick Thoughts

Well, trying to be better with the whole blogging thing... meaning, if I post one once a month at this rate, I am happy!

This weekend was pretty fun, all things considered. I am sick with a cold right now - thanks to germy students. Literally, I cringe every time I see one of them sneeze into their hands and then touch books and papers. Or, sneeze right on to a paper that they hand in seconds later. So, Saturday, I spent a lot of the day in a "NyQuil-drug-like-state." Normally, I really avoid medicine like the plauge - but want to kick this thing soon! Today, we spent some time with friends at Elitch Gardens. It was a lot of fun and pretty nice weather - not too hot!

I also did some grading this afternoon and thought I would leave you with these thoughts from student quizzes...
